# atmos version track verify

Check that dependency locks are current under your update policies and that managed project files
match those locks. Use this command as a CI gate to catch unlocked dependencies, eligible updates,
or unapplied version changes.

Both conditions must hold for `verify` to pass:

1. The lock file is fresh.
2. Every file maintained by the file managers matches what [`apply`](/cli/commands/version/track/apply) would write.

## Usage
