# atmos vendor config

Inspect and update the sources, versions, and file-selection settings in your vendoring manifests.
Use these commands to automate dependency configuration changes while preserving the YAML's comments
and structure.

## Usage

Address fields in `vendor.yaml` using dot-notation paths, such as `spec.sources[0].version`, source URLs, tags, or `included_paths`. For a component's pinned version, [`atmos vendor get`](/cli/commands/vendor/vendor-get) and [`atmos vendor set`](/cli/commands/vendor/vendor-set) accept its name instead of a manifest index. Use `atmos vendor config` directly for other fields and for `list` or `format`.

```shell
atmos vendor config get <path> [--file <manifest>]
atmos vendor config set <path> <value> [--type <type>] [--file <manifest>]
atmos vendor config delete <path> [--file <manifest>]
atmos vendor config format [--file <manifest>]
atmos vendor config list [path-pattern] [--format <format>] [--file <manifest>]
```

# Format the root and imported vendor manifest files.
