# atmos cast

Capture terminal runs for demonstrations, documentation, and troubleshooting. Record an Atmos
command with `--cast`, then replay the recording or turn it into a video, image, or HTML output you
can share.

## Usage

```shell
atmos <command> --cast=<output.cast>
atmos <command> --cast=<output.gif>
atmos <command> --cast=<output.mp4>
atmos <command> --cast=<output.html>
atmos <command> --cast=<output.ascii>
atmos <command> --cast=<output.png>
atmos <command> --cast=<output.jpg>
atmos cast <subcommand> [arguments] [flags]
```

When the output extension is a rendered format (anything other than `.cast`), Atmos records to a temporary cast and renders it when the command finishes. The static formats (`.html`, `.ascii`, `.png`, `.jpg`) are rendered natively with no external tools.
